Germany
The Bavarian corner of the Northern Limestone Alps, 20 km from Salzburg. Modern 'plaisir' routes here have glue-in bolts throughout. The Rabensteinhorn above Bad Reichenhall-Karlstein is a low, sunny SW face (April–October). The Berchtesgadener Hochthron on the Untersberg is a higher, longer summer outing.
